I wanted to update my living room décor because it lacked design and was missing oomph. Roxanne, of Parlour Design House was very professional during the consultation in that she showed me a few example pictures of what she expected to do. I also like the fact that she used some of my current design pieces along with new pieces. I love my updated living room! I definitely recommend Parlour Design House.

My husband and I hired Roxanne of Parlour Design House as a our stylist for our Spring engagement photo shoot. She came highly recommended by our wedding photographer, Iris Mannings, so we took full advantage of utilizing Roxanne to help bring our shoot to life. Not only did she slay our looks and poses but she worked with my extremely short notice! I thought that I could be the true DIY bride and not seek professional help but as the week of the shoot approached we still had nothing to wear. Her and I, had a quick conference call about where we were going to shoot and what type of look we as a couple wanted to achieve. Fiance/Now hubby is a pretty laid back guy and tends to wear graphic tees and jeans, while I like to wear all black with a pop of color that is usually a bold lipstick. Trying to pull out our personalities through our style was a challenge for me but Roxanne knew exactly what to do.  She worked with our budget by incorporating pieces that we already had in our closet and found items that wouldn't break the bank. There was one outfit in particular that stole the show, an off the shoulder rainbow stripped dress. I would have never selected this for myself because I thought it would have been too busy for the shoot but it did the complete opposite. This fun bold dress grabbed the attention of the camera and our engagement photos have been featured on different social media platforms including The Washingtonian.  We also get shy and awkward in front of cameras but Roxanne was there at the shoot to help us pose and maneuver gracefully. When I say that she styled the shoot, I truly mean that! From our looks to our stances she brought our engagement photo shoot to life! Looking back on our engagement and wedding journey, I learned that some things are best left to a professional and hiring Roxanne Paul was one of the best decisions that we made!

Having recently moved into my new home, I needed help designing my son’s bedroom, and play area. I had some great ideas in mind, but was having difficulty bringing them to life. I was referred to PDH - and I must say, I am more than thrilled with the results! Roxanne was a pleasure to work with; she was professional, attentive to my  needs to accommodate a toddler, and she exceeded my expectations for my son’s room and play area by far! His new spaces are welcoming and portray his personality perfectly, along with amazing functionality. I will definitely use PDH for any design needs in the future!
